Rats!!

As you know, I'm pretty new to this blog stuff. So I'm checking out this site and seeing what it has to offer - I think "Hey, if I'm going to blog here, I need to know all of the bells and whistles!" I'm looking around and I find a place to enter some information about myself to be shown in my personal profile. "Sure, why not!" So I start answering questions about myself - what my line of work is, my birthday, my address - all the typical questions I've answered a million times before. No big deal. I finish entering the info, click submit, and voila! It worked! Success! I now have a personal profile. I'm so proud of myself!

And now a link shows up on my page which reads "View my complete profile". Well heck yeah I'm clicking it - hey, when the world clicks on my profile, I want to experience what they'll be seeing. And what I experienced made me cringe! Along with all of typical personal info I entered, it also broadcasts to the whole world that I am a rat!! You see, I was born in 1972, and for all of you chinese zodiac fans out there, that happens to be the "Year of the Rat". Great! I'm a frickin rat! Why couldn't I have been something cool, like a tiger or a dragon? Now my life will forever be associated with the animal on the poison box, the animal who's synonomous with the word "liar", the 80's band who had bad hair and sang some pretty awful songs! Hopefully over time I'll be able to get over this, but I don't know - that might be asking a lot from a rat!!

Rat, eh? That's fairly close to my thoughts of you on poker night!! ;-)

Oh, and Ratt was a top notch 80's hair band!

I think everybody had an "Out of the Cellar" concert tshirt or album with Tawny Kitaen on it.

1973 was the year of the Ox. It looks like you got the wrong end of the stick on that one.

Wow, a rat, that kinda bites. Eeyhor's a donkey, isn't he, but then that's still unflattering, isn't it?

I think I'd rather be born in the 'year of the rat' than in the 'year of the ass'. And I'd rather be born in the 'year of the ass' than be the 'ass of the year'!

you are funny. Your sisters got the Tiger and the Dragon. the Rat isnt so bad, beavis....not nearly as cool as the tiger, but not bad. think of it as you got to do the cool things way before the "tiger" and "dragon" in the family!

Tuck, I have a question. Why did you use tuxter.blogspot? I was thinking you usually go by tuxster. Was tuxster.blogspot.com already taken or something? I wonder........

Nope, I've always used tuxter - that's my yahoo id and that's my poker stars account name. So if anybody goes out to tuxster.blogspot.com, that's DEFINITELY not me!! :)

What's up Tuck? This is pretty sweet. I put it in my favs so I can keep up with your crazy life. When are we going hang out, maybe hit a movie or a ballgame? I am more of a Skid Row fan than Ratt.
